Meet The Team

At Terra Nova, we are very fortunate to have an outstanding team of therapists and practitioners offering up their services. Here is a little about each of our team members:

While growing up in a small community on her family farm, Jodi exhibited a strong zest for life, excellent work ethic and a desire for personal growth. Jodi's quest for entrepreneurial opportunity matches her husband, Pete's. Pete owns and operates a successful modern, robotic cow dairy in Oxford county along with their five children.

After graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydro Therapy in 1993, Jodi became a successful entrepreneur with her massage therapy clinic. Later in her career she upgraded her education with a 5 year program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto, Ontario, graduating in 2009.

Jodi utilized her love of horses, massage therapy and osteopathy to develop a 4 day Equine sports massage therapy program, which she taught several times a year for 23 years.  Jodi is an advocate for regular exercise and participates in many sports such as running, strength training, cycling and downhill skiing.

Outside of family, Jodi's first love was her horses.  She competed on a competitive level both local and nationally.  Her vast experience with horses and her knowledge of therapy gave her the joy of treating both competitors and their equine partners to maximize their performance levels.

Jodi truly values her connection with people. She treats a wide range of clients from young children to seniors and takes great effort to identify and treat their specific needs.  Jodi has a very positive outlook on life and enjoys working with people to encourage positive mindsets in those around her.  Jodi is extremely pleased to be bringing Terra Nova Therapy to East Zorra Tavistock just North of Woodstock and all their services it will provide.  She is committed to creating a unique therapeutic place for people to seek therapy of all kinds with the promise to grow more than imaginable!  So please keep checking in to see what is being done over the next few years!

Courtney is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, she graduated and received her Master of Osteopathic Manual Science (M.OMSc.) from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton. Prior to her journey into Osteopathy Courtney was a Registered Kinesiologist, she graduated  from HBaKin at Lakehead University in 2013.

After grauduating she worked as a Registered Kinesiologist at a Physiotherapy company in her home town, Stratford, before discovering Osteopathy.  Since a young age, Courtney always knew that she wanted to work with people and after a few personal sports related injuries, she knew she wanted to be able to make people feel better.

In 2016 she found her calling in Osteopathy and quickly enrolled in the 4 year program. When she isn’t working, Courtney enjoys spending time with her friends and family, camping and being involved in the community through the local Junior Farmer’s program in Oxford County as well as providing medical assistance to the women’s Black Swan rugby team in Stratford. She also loves to travel and experience new cultures.

Erin is certified Nutritionist with almost 20 years experience in the natural health field and has a lifelong passion for helping others find balance and health in their lives.  Having struggled with her own health issues from a young age and finding limited help within mainstream medicine, she looked for better solutions to complement current treatments.  Yoga, mindfulness, meditation, nutrient-dense natural food, holistic physical therapies and positive psychology are among some of the most powerful healing tools she uses to help others find their path to wellness. In 2019, Erin became a certified yoga teacher after graduating from Soul Vibration Yoga Teacher Training, and was  thrilled to take a Mind Body Medicine course at Harvard Medical School. She likes to spend her free time with her daughter and husband, running, reading, knitting, painting, and pretty much anything creative.
